Hi,
Do the same thing as I did and hit "Modify" Edge under "control Panel, Apps & Feature", You can't remove it. So, it might be damaged. Then reboot and start Edge, see if you can see anything else when Edge comes up. Read the Event Viewer logs and see if you see anything that might be coming up prior to the Edge crash message and is related to it.
Good luck.
Givi
This sort of fault is often associated with third-party software, e.g. anti-virus or browser extensions. Do you have any third-party security software running - e.g. Norton, McAfee, Avast, Trend Micro, IOBit?
You might also try this quick way to see whether your crashes are caused by an extension:
1. Copy this line:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" --disable-extensions
2. Right-click on the start button and select Run
3. Paste into the Run box and press Enter.
Does the browser launch? Does it crash?
Hi ¡Firedog,
Thank you for your reply and the information. I could not figure out how to turn off the extentions. I am not sure what else can stop working, but I let you know if edge comes up OK.

Givi
Hi Nikhar_K
The above messages that I pasted from the Event Viewer was not enough to see what the issue is? Please let me know if I need to send in more information. If I start MS Edge normally it fails to load the web pages and comes up with a blank screen. Then I have to load it in a compatibility mode. Even then it crashes and all the web sites and URL I had loaded with disappear with it. Then I have to start over again.
I have gone over many suggestions and applied them, but it has not worked. If I could remove MS Edge from my PC I would have. This is a huge inconvenient for me.
Please advice.
Regards,
Givi
Hi,
Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.
I understand that you are facing issues with Microsoft Edge on your computer. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.
However, please let us know:
1. What is the exact issue that you are facing with Microsoft Edge?
2. Are you aware of any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?
3. What is the version of Microsoft Edge that is currently installed on your computer?
I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the article What to do if Microsoft Edge isn't working and see if that helps.
Let us know how it goes.
