Managing bookmarks, browsing history, and downloads in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I have searched for an answer and everything points to the old Edge browser which was easy to use.
When I click on the 3 dots I am not prompted to "Pin to Start".
Just pin to taskbar.
Can someone tell me how to make it work in the recently update Edge?
Thank You.

Hi Gary
Microsoft seem to have forgotten to add this option, here is a workaround for the moment . .
1
To set it up, open the Windows Settings App, go to Personalization - Start, and turn on 'Show Recently Added Apps'
2
In Edge, navigate to a web page, then click the 3 dots and choose More Tools - Pin to Taskbar
On your Start Menu, you will see that listed in Recent Apps, right click that and choose 'Pin to Start'
Then right click the item on the Taskbar and choose 'Unpin from, Taskbar' . . .
After recent updates, this no longer works.
The nature of urls pinned to the taskbar is different.
What does work is to manually create a shortcut to the url in the Start\Programs folder, then go to Start>AllApps and pin that url to Start.
Unnecessary pita...
Good Morning Dave-
That worked perfectly.
Thanks very much !!
