Good luck!!
That is for passwords not usernames, so that is no help it seems no one knows how to fix it. But the person that created this
knows how to fix it, but doesn't give anyone a choice. BAD BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No error message or anything but I there is no using microsoft in the beginning using a password to get in anymore just straight to your accounts. I have tried deleting them clear the brower once you enter the username it remembers them
again and were back where we started. Who ever did this had a bad idea because you should never have your username and
passwords pop up it could be easier for someone to get into your account.
No I am not signing in with my microsoft account since they switched to the green and blue edge symbol that seem to go away and I haven't seen it since. The first edge was a plain blue E, now it this one and I hate it because I have all my usernames and password wrote down and I want to enter them myself not pop up and just press on it and it enters itself. Not good ever when someone else can know your username and might be able to figure out what your password is. I have a different username and password for every account I use. Especially my financial institutaions. 3 microsoft Techs tried to help the other day but didn't fix it than wanted to charge me. I said no I did not create this and I am not paying. If you need more information let me know.
Thanks
Hi Parker. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator. If you will work with me I will be here to help until the issue is resolved.
Where are you seeing these popups to sign into Microsoft Edge?
Are you signing into Windows with your MS Account, which should resolve this and all other such issues with individual apps signing in separately? There is no downside to doing this, which can be done at Settings > Accounts > Your Info > Sign in with a Microsoft Account Instead.
If not then when you go to new Edge Settings > Your Profile is the correct account showing there? If not click on the ... three dots next to Sign Out button, then Remove. Sign back in with your MS Account choosing to Stay Signed in.
If the account is correct, can you Sign Out and then sign back in choosing to Stay Signed in?
If this doesn't fully understand your problem then please explain more so I can help you better. If Edge is outright malfunctioning then there are repair steps I can give that will usually fix it.
