Managing tabs, address bar, and search settings in Edge on Windows 10

Why is my Bing home page feed suddenly defaulting (regressing) to Fahrenheit? My location is set to Australia and like the rest of the known world we use Celsius. My region is set to Australia. Up to now the new tab page has correctly displayed temperature in degrees Celsius, up till this morning that is. Now, whether I'm logged in or not logged in, the temperature displays in American units (Fahrenheit). When I go into Forica and select Celsius and save, the page still reverts to degrees F the next time a new tab is displayed.

I'm seeing the same. Please use the feedback option (Alt-Shift-i) to report it so the Edge team are made aware of the bug. There are experiments going on with the NTP, so someone probably broke the temperature scale selector.
I don't think it's anything local to your machine (or mine...).
they seem to forget that 96% of humanity doesn’t use that stupid temperature scale...

Hello PeterKrohn1,
Thanks for the feedback. Please try to do the following methods below.
To clear the browsing data to resolve issues on the Chromium version of Microsoft Edge, use these steps:
10 Check all the items that you want to clear. For example:
Cookies and other site data.
Cached images and files.
Site permissions.
Hosted app data.
Quick tip: Unless the problem is related, you don't need to clear passwords, browsing history, or autofill data.
Once you complete the steps, try to load different websites to confirm if the problem that you're seeing is gone.
If you turned off the data syncing, after clearing the browsing data, it's recommended to turn on the feature again from Settings > Profiles > Sync settings page.
If clearing the browsing history didn't resolve the problem, then you can reset the browser settings to its defaults to see whether the problem is related to an extension or configuration.
To reset the Chromium Edge to its default settings to fix problems, use these steps:
After you complete the steps, the feature will reset the new tab and startup page, search engine, and pinned tabs. Also, this process will disable extensions as one of them could be causing issues, and it'll clear temporary data. However, the reset option won't delete your history or saved passwords.

Hello Antonio, thanks for your response. You have indeed outlined how the temperature unit "flipper" in the top left corner is meant to work. I have already tried it, I can change it to Celsius, yes, but the change is not being saved and is not being carried
forward. It is now 12.07 AM in Melbourne, Australia and a cold 4 degrees (Celsius) outside so I'm going to bed but I look forward to this problem being solved; I will check back soon.
