Where are my links?

I used Edge for specific sites.  I had saved settings for those sites. After the new version of Edge installed, all my settings were changed to the same as Google Chrome.  How do I revert back to the saved links, etc I had in Edge?

That did not work.  There was no option to import legacy Edge information. The options include importing from Firefox and Chrome (both more user friendly by the way) and even IE.

Hi MichaelFreemanNY, My name is Jeremy, a Windows Independent Adviser. I'll be happy to help you out today. Let’s see what I can do.

It looks like you have accidentally imported your Google Chrome favorites to your new edge, however, resetting it would help

Click the 3dots on the upper right window of your Edge, click on "settings" > "Reset Settings" > "Retore Setting to their default values"

*Note: It will reset your edge and that everything in your new edge will be deleted,

After the reset, go back to your new edge, click on the 3 dots > "Favorites" > "Import" > then select "Microsoft edge Legacy"

it will automatically copy everything from the checklist from the old edge and import to your new edge

    I hope this information helps

    Kind regards,

    Jeremy

Hi MichaelFreemanNY, I'm really sorry if that didn't work, may I verify that the links you are referring to are bookmarks/favorites, is that right?

Please proceed to this thread to provide a full guide on how you can recover it.
