Although Microsoft Edge can open PDF files, the editing options are limited. However, as you are using Microsoft Word, you may want to check the following articles and see if it helps you.

There are third party tools as well, such as, Adobe Acrobat that perform these operations as well. However, you may opt for the application that you prefer.
If you are using the New Edge, you can also check for suitable extensions from the Store .

You can Open Microsoft Edge. Click on the Settings & More Ellipsis (…) on the right hand corner and then, select Help & Feedback and select Send Feedback
