Installing or updating Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Since the new update of Edge, login to Barclays Bank is impossible and frustrating, while on my laptop, which I didn't update, smooth as silk. Anyone else experiencing a similar problem?

OK, I think I've found an answer to the problems with Edge & Barclays.
NOTE - this procedure will delete all of the stored login information for Barclays so you will need to enter your membership no. or card number again.
In EDGE:-
Click the three dots on the top right of the EDGE window (Settings and more Alt+F) - should display new window
Select 'Settings' (somewhere near the bottom of the menu for me) - should display the Settings & Profile screen
Under Settings select 'Cookies and site permissions' - should display Cookies and data stored panel
Select 'Manage cookies and site data' - should display Cookies and data stored/Cookies and site data panel
Select 'See all cookies and site data' - should display Cookies and site data/All cookies and site data panel
Scroll down to the Barclays cookies, for me it's Barclays.co.uk. Click the expand arrow on the right - should display a series of Barclays web addresses and number of cookies associated with each one
Click the Waste bin icon on the right of each cookie row - the cookies will be deleted
Try the Barclays web site again, it should be OK now

I am having the same problem with new Edge.
Any solutions other than Internet Explorer mode within Edge but that is so slow that it is painful
Yes, I tried in Chrome and the Barclays web site worked fine.
Hi there, I'm Jason Go, a developer and a Microsoft enthusiast. I can help you on this.
As a developer I usually stumble upon websites where their login pages does not work in browsers with built-in tracking protection and/or ad blockers.
Microsoft Edge, along with other chromium-based browsers like Opera, Vivaldi, and Brave have their own built-in tracking protection AND it's activated by default.
It's usually the main culprit for some login pages not working, as some of these login pages have scripts that pings their servers or monitors the activity in their login pages for security reasons. Unfortunately, this is still considered "tracking" despite being an essential tracking mechanism for the login page.
To solve this, disable the tracking protection for that specific page by clicking the Lock Icon in front of your address bar and toggle-off the Tracking Prevention, just as seen below:
If you have an ad blocker extension, try to whitelist the login page or disable the ad blocker for that specific page.
I hope this solves your problem. A yes vote will let me know it helped you!
I also had this problem, then Chrome developed it as well!
Eventually cleared out my cookies in Edge & Chrome, now both working fine.
