HTML5 can generally be used as an alternative to Adobe Flash. Both include features for playing audio and video within web pages, It can also be used to play some basic HTML5 browser games and integrated vector graphics are possible with both.

Well, happily, we don't have to do anything because according to Melirix the Microsoft Edge browser already contains the replacement for the Adobe Flash Player.

There are at least three replacements for Adobe Flash Player available.

The way that I understood the article to read was that the major web browsers were going to place one of the above inside. Hopefully, that will be the case and we won't have to download and install anything ourselves.
