How to get cloud powered (Natural) tts voices

I often use the read aloud/tts feature when I'm studying and going through my textbook and what not. Normally I am just on my desktop and use the default US/Can english voices, but recently I used the read aloud feature from my laptop and found a lot of other voices that sounded a lot better. When selecting them from the voice options, they usually have the word "natural" in brackets as well. I want to have these voices on my desktop but for the life of me cannot find out how to get them, or where to even find information about it. The most I've got is that I think they're called cloud powered voices or something. How do I get these voices to my desktop?

Hi, I'm Robinson, an Independent Advisor and a Windows user like you.

To use one of these voices, add it to your PC:

1-Open Narrator Settings by pressing the Windows logo key + Ctrl + N.

2-Under Personalize Narrator’s voice, select Add more voices. This will take you to the Speech settings page.

3-Under Manage voices, select Add voices.

4-Select the language you would like to install voices for and select Add. The new voices will download and be ready for use in a few minutes, depending on your internet download speed.

5-Once the voices for the new languages are downloaded, go to Narrator settings, and select your preferred voice under Personalize Narrator’s voice > Choose a voice.

You can find all the available voices on this link.

Hi: I'm pretty sure I know what you are looking for. Unfortunately, those "natural" voices are only available using Edge, and, you need to be connected to the Internet for them to be offered or useable. This is because the speech is generated by a remote machine, and the audio is streamed to you. If you go off-line, or are not using Edge, those voices are not available and you can only use the voices available on your machine. Those do not sound quite as good as the "natural" voices. There is a company called Nextup Technologies, which makes a program called "TextAloud" which can read all kinds of things, and you can purchase more natural-sounding voices, so you might find something that you like there. Unfortunately, these are not free voices. But, it is an option to consider. You can visit their Web site and listen to samples of the voices at: http://www.nextup.com Wish I could give you a way to use those "natural" voices outside the Edge browser, but, this is the way MicroSoft is doing it right now. Cheers.

I use the read aloud feature on Edge on both my desktop and laptop, but only the laptop has these voices.
