Microsoft edge virus detected

Microsoft edge won't download files and keeps saying every file has a virus. This started a day before the making of this post. I've also updated the Application. I've tried other browsers and I did not encounter this problem with chrome or Firefox. This problem seems to only occur on Microsoft Edge. I have also cleared my browsing and download data and modified the registry. Please help.

I'm having this problem now with every download. We shouldn't have to go through all that just to disable this feature. I'm about to go back to chrome just because of this.

No, I'm not using any other software and windows security does not have anything blocked.

    Hi jtmoncatar,

Again, apologies if that didn't work as well. Just wanted to clarify if you are also using another antivirus aside from Windows Security?

If you are only using Windows Security, can you verify if both the real-time protection & cloud-delivered protection are set to off? Can you also try to go to Windows Security > Virus and threat protection > Protection History > select the file that is blocked > select "Allow". Once done, check your downloads folder or try to download the file again.

Hoping for your feedback. Thank you.

Hello,  Thanks for replying. I tried resetting just like you said but it doesn't work. I'm also in an administrator account. I  made a mistake this error also happens in chrome but not on Firefox, so it must be a problem in my computer. It only started yesterday. I have 3 antivirus software's and none of them detect Malware.
