Hi Chuck!!
Edge has it's own password manager which stores and saves passwords!! Just like chrome, it has a few momre features that are currently rolling out or only work if sync is on.
Micorsoft Password Mointer and Password Generator. You can use a 3rd party to keep it if you dont' have a ms account or you want the other features like security and just seamles with Norton or other stuff. Just turn of save passwords. I just perfer edge's default since I can jsut sync it :)
Hi Shawn - Now I am not sure at all where to go. There would be no website www.edge://settings.
I did try www.edge.com but it took me to some sort of cloud site and I do not think it had anything to do with Microsoft.
Can you please rediret?
Thanks, Chuck
Hi Chuck,
I think I explained it wrong, that is for Windows SEttings. please go to Edge://settings like passwords.
Hello,
just my personal recommendation:
After testing many password managers very intensively I ended up with LastPass.
It allows you to store also some other data than just passwords (like credit cards, secure notes, bank accounts, and many others).
And it has some good security features that help you keeping your passwords safe (like checking for duplicate or week passwords or checking if your email addresses have been found in hacks.
I am working as UX expert in the sector "Insurance", so I am not involved in the company behind LastPass.
Best regards
OLLI
Hi Shawn - Went to settings -- Update & Security -- Windows Security -- Account Protection -- Manage -- Manage Sync Settings.
All sync settings are turned on but I saw nothing there regarding passwords.
Thanks, Chuck
