Microsoft Edge Update - How to reverse the update?

Hello. 21JUN20 I installed the Edge Update and I hate it. Microsoft really blew it this time. How can I reverse the update? Microsoft has greyed all tiles in SETTINGS so I cannot do it that way. Even the START MENU will not close after I use it. It's all messed up! The fonts have faded and words look like a printer that is nearly out of ink. The FAVORITES MENU has been altered for the worst. I hate the update. I need to reverse it. Any idea?

Although "JeremyCountings" is most likely a bot, I'll write this as if I'm talking to homo sapiens. I don't know of any people who do not leave a space between their christian name and surname. Earlier versions of Microsoft were better. To the point. Update "13.129.31" signed me out of my emails, YouTube, Google and every other site I used WITHOUT INFORMING ME THAT IT WOULD! Had I known I would have not updated or I would have found another browser. And that's another thing about Microsoft. Users used to be able to copy FAVORITES to a folder to transfer to another computer. With Windows 10 that is no longer possible. Microsoft continues to "entertain" me when I do not want to be entertained. I do not look to Microsoft and Edge for amusement and entertainment. Microsoft assumes I have the mentality of a three year old. When I did write Microsoft to complain Microsoft had an "engineer" call me and he was very arrogant. And I never did get the issue resolved. For example update 13.129.31 will not let me blank Edge. Microsoft just has to remind me of their existence by including the logo on the Edge page. To add insult to injury there are the following choices:  "Page layout. Focused, Inspirational, Informational and Custom". Treat me like a little kid. Keep shoving into my face the constant droning of buy buy buy consume consume consume. Microsoft can never inspire me, or inform me or help me focus. All Microsoft is good for is to make it possible to connect to information. Microsoft is poking their nose where it is not wanted. I am not a Microsoft person. Microsoft seems to live in a childish world of toys, sugary food and trying to be infantile cute. I said before that the "tiles"  in the APPS AND FEATURES - MICROSOFT EDGE UPDATE - dated 6/21/2020- 1.3.129.31 entitled "MODIFY" and "UNINSTALL" ARE DISABLED!!! They are "greyed out". They are disabled. Now what am I supposed to do? And why would you refer me to a "non-Microsoft website"? You state further that, "The page appears to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it." The page "APPEARS to be providing accurate, safe information?" APPEARS? You link me to a potentially harmful website? Are you out of your mind? I want Microsoft to tell me how to uninstall Edge update 13.129.31.

You're just wasting time trying to uninstall Edge permanently, it is futile. Might as well just leave it and install a browser of your choice and make that your default browser. It's what many people have done and they never have to use Edge at all.

No. Not blurry. Degraded is the only word. Like I said it resembles a printed page printed by a printer that is critically low on ink. The letters are faded. And what did they do to the FAVORITES? It was fine like it was. What has happened to Microsoft? I want to reinstall Windows 10 and prevent the Edge update from reinstalling. The "devs" took a good thing and **** it up! I'm looking at YouTube and all the font isn't what it used to be. And the FAVORITES nightmare! A three year old could craft a better menu! The dropdown reads, "Choose Another Folder" which then opens ANOTHER dropdown menu!!! Can it get any worse? You have to go through TWO menus when it used to be one! I don't "sync" with Microsoft because I'm afraid they will examine what I am doing. Or data mine. The internet is replete with sites requiring your "location". Sites doing business will take your money and then intentionally stall sending you what you bought. They are hoping that you will forget and they keep your money. Symantec and Microsoft fail to stop virus even though you pay them to. Symantec will say, "We tried but the virus invaded your pc. Sorry." Gee, can I have my money back? I learned something. It's the "font weight" that is altered. Some letters are more faded than others. YouTube has this problem.

Hi My name is Jeremy, a Windows Independent Advisor. I'll be happy to help you out today. Let’s see what I can do. :)

I apologize for the bad experience that you had with the new edge, rest assured that Microsoft will continue to update it to the best fit of the customer

To revert to the previous version of Edge, you just need to uninstall Edge Chromium, the old version of Edge will automatically be re-instated . . .

Open the Settings App *gear icon on your Start Menu)

Locate Microsoft Edge in the resulting list and choose Uninstall

or you can visit this link to provide a better guide with screenshots

Please let me know how it goes

    Kind regards,

    Jeremy
