New Microsoft Edge - Adobe Flash Player

Hi,

I have a user attempting to view maps via a website called Ordnance Surveys, the user can log in but when it comes to viewing the map it advises "you need to download flash player" in which i did, tested again didn't work. I then noticed in site permissions adobe was switched to off, I toggled this to "prompt", yet it does not do this either, also I cannot like the other settings see an "add" or "block" button to manually add it in to allow.

Any guidance is much appreciated.

Kind Regards

Aaron

At least you know that the flash player works on other sites. Any luck on testing in the other device after reinstalling?

    Hi Jin,

I don't have an advanced tab, what version of New Microsoft Edge / Chromium are you using? Is this the "old" edge you are using?

    Regards

    Hi Aaron,

I'm Jin, a fellow Windows 10 user and an independent advisor. I can see that you want to enable Adobe Flash Player in Edge.

    1. In Edge, click the 3 dots.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Click Advanced tab.
    4. Toggle Use Adobe Flash Player to On.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi,

I see that your using Edge Chromium. Then in Settings, select the site permission then you'll see Adobe Flash. Toggle it on.

Let me know if you need more help on this.
