Managing bookmarks, browsing history, and downloads in Edge on Windows 10

Ever since I updated Edge version 89.0.774.45 I can only open one favorite (in a new tab) at a time from folders in the favorite bar.
If I want to open more favorites at a time (middle-mouse click or right-mouse open in new tab) I have to open one favorite, close the folder (click outside the folder), reopen the folder, open an other favorite and repeat until I've opened all the favorites I wanted to open.
Before version 89.0.774.45 I could just open the folder and middle-click all the favorites I wanted to open before closing the folder.
Is there any way I can get the folders in the favorites bar to behave the same way as they did before version 89.0.774.45?

I can confirm this behaviour in 89.0.774.45, and I can't explain it. It's really irritating. This is using my usual method of opening multiple favourites from a folder: hold Ctrl down while clicking on each in turn. Only the first opens.

.... maybe the Edge team will fix it in the future.
I should have mentioned in my last reply that this works as expected to in the current Dev release, which is a Chromium release ahead of the stable version (90 instead of 89). So it is fixed, and the fix will come soon.
Hi.
I am also having the same problem. Before version update it worked flawlessly. I am going to send the feedback so maybe the Edge team will fix it in the future.
