I just downloaded the new Edge browser and can't find the add notes feature that was in the old one. Did they remove this? Thanks.

I am also moving to Mac. Done with incompetence of Microsoft in unnecessarily changing features and making us look like fools.

I used Edge after long time and I liked Add Notes feature, because I can mark and save webpage in OneNote. The new Edge doesn't have this feature. Either Microsoft thinks we have time to keep searching and break our heads for simple features that they remove or they have incompetent programmers who don't really care to keep the things same.

The Add Notes feature has one major advantage over Snip & Sketch.Add Notes you can expand the size of what you are cutting beyond the size of your own screen using the arrow buttons with your cursor.Snip is limited to only the size of your screen when you expand the clip range outward.I dont like that limitation at all.I used Add Notes a lot.It figures they would get rid of it for something inferior.I always dread when the big update would come each year because the Add Notes would be messed up from it.When you would clip and save your "note" or "pic" then go to your saved item all you would have is a white screen with a tiny little box with an X in it.I could redo it over and over,do other clips and have the same white screen with the X as my saved work.I would have to reverse the update to an earlier version just to get my Add Notes to work right again.I have so had it with Microsoft. They prove worthy of their bad reputation daily. My next computer is going to be a Mac.I'm done.

We are currently working on a version of this feature in the new browser to restore the functionality for those who are used to Web Notes. Expected to be available in coming months. Please stay tuned.

Available in coming months? This is a significant omission so please devote resources to restoring sooner rather than later.

It is now November and this still hasn't been fixed. What the heck are you people doing??? This was already an existing feature, it shouldn't take a team of professional developers more than one maybe two weeks to re-implement it.  This thread has 262 upvotes, and this is just the people who happen to google this issue and stubble upon this question. This is affecting many more users who you don't see here. Some of us have to work / study from home and this is a really important feature. Microsoft has proven once again how incompetent and out of touch they are. I have no reason to use edge over chrome without this feature.
