Managing tabs, address bar, and search settings in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
On the newest edge along the top displaying the pages you have opened there is no down arrow to expand it to small icons or windows. Did they get rid of this feature. I have alot of pages open and it was nice to see more info what they were.

Thank you for help with this at one time on that toolbar before the chromium update, I used what it is like an up arrow and a down arrow that was on the toolbar to expand and collapse the thumbnails on my tabs when needed. I have used that for a long time. Your are right there is now down or up arrow as they seemed to gotten rid of it in the latest update to edge chromium. I appreciate your response. It was a nice feature turn that off and on quickly to expand by browser when needed. When the thumbnails were on it was easy to find the tab I needed, instead of, hovering over each one. I have open a lot of tabs and most of them had the same beginning name. It has now become a task to find out which tab I need to open.
Thanks again.

Hi AR
Unfortunately, the page preview thumbnails of the original Edge are not (yet) available in the new Edge chromium.
it has been requested, but no sign of it yet.
you can add your suggestion to the development team from within edge Alt+shift+I
there is a discussion between the development team and Edge insiders about this feature, you may be able to add a comment there as well

the more users that request it, the more likely it is to be added.
... there is no down arrow to expand it to small icons or windows.
This feature is still in the testing stages. To try it out, in a new tab enter edge://flags/#tab-hover-cards. Change the setting from Default to Enabled for the feature called Tab hover cards. If you'd like to see thumbnail images of each tab, change Tab Hover Card Images to Enabled as well.
Note that there is no down arrow; the tab info or thumbnail appears when you point at the tab.
