Restoring incognito tabs after a crash

Hello everyone.

I assume the only answer to my question is probably going to be "impossible, stupid you" but anyways the hopeful remaining 0,0000005% of me dares to ask...

For a good reason ( not using my laptop but someone else´s - the person is perfectly versed in IT and I wanted to minimize any information regarding my browsing history ) I was using an incognito Edge mode for about a month ( had tens of tabs and windows open ( yes, it used to be a habit of mine - once again for a reason.. ) when it crashed yesterday and I lost my million tabs.

No need to point out my stupidity - I realize well that I should have done differently.

The question is  - can I get all the tabs back ? Are they AT LEAST THEORETICALLY to be restored ?

The value of them to me is not to be described with words :-((

( I was just hours from going to save all the tabs : (

Thank you !

    Hello MilenaM3, how are you?

I am an independent consultant and user like you!

    I'm happy to help you!

Unfortunately it is not possible to restore tabs used in incognito mode!

It is only possible to retrieve the tabs in the conventional way, when the browser does not do it automatically, the set of keys "Ctrl + Shift + T" can be pressed.

But you may still be able to check the pages accessed! Even in anonymous mode, there is a record.

    Follow the steps:

    > Open the Windows Command Prompt

    > Paste the command below

    ipconfig /displaydns

    > Press the "Enter" key

    > A list will be loaded with various websites that have been accessed and information about them.

Make sure the pages you want are in this list! Unfortunately it will be the only way!

If you still have a problem I hope your answer!

    Hello Rafael.

Thank you very much for your time. I greatly appreciate the time you took for the reply.

However this is not helpful. I was not able to reach a single site using your method.

Did you also take into account that the sessions crashed yesterday and not a few hours ago ?

    Any other suggestions ( anyoe ) ? :-)

If all InPrivate windows were closed (on purpose, by accident, or by crash), then the private session is done and tabs gone. There will be no way to retrieve them.

    I'm sorry I didn't find it!

Yes, I took it into consideration!

I thought it worth mentioning this method, because it would be the only way to identify any trace of the missing tabs!
