Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on older Windows versions
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
My internet comes into my home on hard wire and goes into a router where it is split onto the hard drive and then by WIFI to my second computer. The WIFI link is working using Win10 and Microsoft Edge, and I am able to open the USBank.com link.
But the hard wired computer which is using Win7 and Microsoft Edge, will not open the site. I am able to open the page, go to personal accounts, then checking accounts but when I click on LOGIN button the goes gray with an X in a circle and all of the remaining pages below the LOGIN button are slightly fogged out and when any other key is pressed nothing happens.
USBank.com agent was unable to remedy the problem. They did say that we should try to get into the link using Facebook which we tried but when we did get into USBank.com the same problem occurred.

Good Day Brucesilliman,
My name is Carlo, I'm an Independent Advisor and community member like you.
I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out.
Here's the steps you can try.
Reset the Edge
-Open Edge and click the 3 dots at the upper right side of your screen.
-Go to Settings
-Look for Reset Settings
-Click Restore settings to their default values.
(This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your favorites, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.)
Restart the pc and check if you can now access it.
If issue persist, re-download the Edge browser, go to this link below.

Once downloaded , restart your device and check if you can now access the link.
I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.
Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.
With Warm Regards,
Carlo T.

Carlo T, your solution of resetting and then setting the settings within Edge did the job. Rebooted the computer and first attempt at logging in to USBank.com was successful. I appreciate your help.
