Hi Jamal, kindly check and try the steps below and see how it goes.

    Method 1:

    • Open MS Edge
    • At the top right, click the 3 dots to open a new Private window
    • In the Private window, try opening the website we you encountered the error and If it opens okay, try to clear your cache and cookies
    • If in the event that it is still the same, you can try to Reset MS Edge as well

Method 2: - Click on Start and search for Powershell - From results, right click on PowerShell and select Run as administrator - Type following command and press Enter key: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose} - After the process has been completed, try again MS Edge and check if the issue still persist

Edit by a moderator: The PowerShell instructions apply only to the legacy version of Microsoft Edge, not to the current version this thread is about. They won't hurt, but they won't help, either

... extensions spelling ck, Norton password mngr,Norton safe wen, Malware bytes

I'm inclined to suggest that Norton and/or Malwarebytes are involved here, especially if the error comes back after a Windows Update. Software like this often needs time to adapt to changes in the operating system, because to be effective it has to insinuate itself into the deepest recesses of Windows. To test whether this is the case, you'd have to uninstall (not just disable) all third-party security software on your computer, using the producer's removal utility where appropriate. Windows Security will keep you safe meanwhile, so long as you make sure that Microsoft Defender is running after uninstalling.

I hop you've submitted feedback (Alt-Shift-i) including diagnostic data so the engineering team have a better chance of being able to pinpoint the problem, whether it's with third-party software or something else.
