Managing bookmarks, browsing history, and downloads in Edge on Windows 10

One of the worst things I've always disliked about Google Chrome was that if you have a really long list of favorites, there was no scroll bar to easily navigate through your list, looking for what you want. Edge and IE have always had that feature, but now the new Edge has removed it. Please bring it back, Microsoft! It is going to really slow down my usage of the Internet browser by having to hover over the up and down arrow keys in the list, or use the wheel on my mouse to scroll through the list. Search only works well if you know exactly the favorite you are looking for, but if you don't recall how you saved it or spelled it, the search isn't going to work well either.

I agree it is very cumbersome trying to use your mouse scroll wheel to get to the bottom of the list.
As a TMP workaround I create a TMP folder and put it at the top of my Favorites Bar so it is displayed. I then save the URL to that folder and then move it where I want if I want to move it up from the bottom of the Favorites listing.
I'm able to scroll Favorites speedily with mouse wheel here.
If you want to express your opinion on this to Edge Developers you can choose the Edge Hub (three dots to right of URL address bar) then Help & Feedback, then Feedback form to fill out. They will not even see it here as this is a forums mostly staffed by volunteers who try to help with your problems. If you want to click the Share link on your Feedback to post back a Share link to it here and others who find this thread can vote it up and add to it.
To preserve old Edge the only way I know of now is to System Restore to before it was overwritten, then pro-actively install New Edge side-by-side with old Edge to keep it from overwriting old Edge again. Not a solution for your issue, but have you considered breaking up your favorites into folders?
