Slimware keeps popping up when I start my computer, which is annoying. Can I uninstall it, or is it worth keeping?

    Hello philBosworth ,

I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'll be happy to assist you today. I understand you want to know if Slimware is safe.

We do not recommend using a third-party driver update utility because it often installs incorrect drivers and usually makes your system unstable and does not work. We strongly recommend downloading and installing your device drivers from the manufacturer support page or through Windows Update.

I recommend to uninstall the driver update utility.

Press Start then search "Apps and Features"

Find Slimware Driver Update in the list and click it

    Select Uninstall

Please refer on the link below on how to uninstall it.

Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.

    Sincerely,

    John DeV
