Anyway I can use Google Meet to share a tab with sound like in Chrome?

In Google meet on Edge I only have the option of presenting with either entire screen or a window (but without sound).  On Chrome I have these 2 options plus I can share a Chrome tab with video and sound.  (See pics).  I would like to be able to do this on Edge because on Chrome it uses a hell of a lot of RAM and GPU.  Does anyone have a workaround?

    Hi there,

I'm happy to report you should now have the option to share a tab using Google Meet with Microsoft Edge!

Give it a try and let me know if you run in to any issues.

Thanks for your reply but it does not work for me.  Comes back with "your browser does not support this webpage, please download chrome/FF/Edge.

There is a workaround for this issue. You can get the "User-Agent Switcher" extension for Edge from Microsoft Store. Within that you can select the browser to Chrome and then refresh the page. This will make Google Meet think that it is running inside a Chrome browser. That way you can get this to work.

Anyone with an answer to this or a work around to it (but not removing S-mode and installing Chrome)?
