IE 11 on Win 10. Today (12/12/2022) tried to open security cameras with shortcuts using IE 11 (same as past several years) but it flips to Edge Chrome. Would not open. These cameras use ActiveX and can't be updated. After much searching found Edge, Settings. Default Browser, where I was able to force off Let IE open in Edge, and IE Mode Pages add the cameras. however, it only allows for 30 days? Really? I sthere a way to set permanently? Edge Version 108.0.1462.46 (Official build) (64-bit)

Hi Kevin,
I am Dave, I will help you with this.
Internet Explorer has been deprecated by Microsoft and should not be available in Windows 10, unless you are sing a vey old version of Windows 10.
IE Mode in Edge can only be set for specific time periods, there is no method to enable that permanently, that is one of the IE Mode restrictions,
It would be best to check the software developer of whatever IP camera setup you have to see if they have an updated version of their software, because IE Mode in Edge will not always be available in Edge, that will also eventually be deprecated.
