Hi KinaHaborat -

I'm Kevin B., I do apologize for the inconvenience that you're experiencing right now, let me help you sort things out.

Kindly navigate to the location below in your SSD drive. The location should contain the bookmarks of your Microsoft Edge (New version)

X:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Bookmarks

Replace USERNAME with your user name

Copy the Bookmarks and paste on the directory below

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\

Replace USERNAME with your user name

Hope this will help and have a bless day!

Thanks.

Kevin B.

Password for Microsoft edge are all located in the web credentials section of windows under Credential Manager tool.

... the passwords will be saved again on the Web Credentials under Credential Manager.

This is not correct. Internet Explorer and Legacy Edge both used the Windows Credential Manager to store web passwords, but Chromium Edge doesn't. It has its own password store, one for each browser profile. They are saved in a file called Login Data in the same directory as the Bookmarks file. The problem with recovering them is that they are (of course) encrypted, and I think they can only be decrypted in situ. This is why it's a good idea to export passwords (in plain text) once in a while and keep them in a very safe place.

Hi KinaHaborat -

Thanks for the response and I'm glad that the bookmarks are restored. Unfortunately it does not work like recovering bookmarks. Password for Microsoft edge are all located in the web credentials section of windows under Credential Manager tool. If the windows on the SSD drive is no longer working, then accessing the credential manager on that drive is not possible. You may need to re-enter the passwords on your web browser and let edge remember it. That way, the passwords will be saved again on the Web Credentials under Credential Manager.

Regards,

Kevin B.
