Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I've started using Edge this year and recently I've encountered a problem with the browser image search. Whenever I search an image it shows completely unrelated images in the Related Content section. It was working fine last week, I didn't fiddle around with the browser settings, it just stopped working properly one day and it's really hampering my ability to work effectively since I rely heavily on searching images for drawing/concept art references.

Hello Greg,
Sorry for the delayed response. But no, it doesn't seem that other browser has this problem, I tried firefox and Chrome and both seems to work just fine. I will try using the system restore when I have the time. Thank you for the help.
Best regards
Nat
Is it the same in other browsers? If not then the problem could be Edge. Try to System Restore to a point before the problem began following this guide: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-system-r...
System Restore is your first line of defense and can take you back to a point before a problem began like a time machine. If it doesn't help then you can undo it. Read about it first in the tutorial above and then try restoring to just before this started.
Hello Greg,
Thank you for the reply, I've sent a feedback to the devs and I've also tried the Bing Visual search and it seems to work fine. It's just I was hoping that I could use the regular image search works like before, having to constantly use the Bing Visual Search is causing a mild inconvenience (needing to click several things first, the visual search button and sometimes having to drag the cropped area). I just don't understand why it suddenly stopped working properly.
Besides that, I've found that the problem is not always there, I've noticed that sometimes the Related Content sidebar does indeed show the correct related image suggestions. As you can see in the image attachment below.
Hi Natha. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, specializing in Installation, Performance, Troubleshooting and Activation, here to help you.
If you want to report this to Edge Developers you can choose the Edge Hub (three dots to right of URL address bar) then Help & Feedback, then Feedback form to fill out. They will not even see it here, as this is a tech forums where mostly volunteers try to help others with their problems.
You might also try the Bing Visual web search:

Then there is the Search API here:

A good guide for Bing image searching here:

I hope it helps. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.
