I've been using a homegrown application for years which 'HAD' a drag and drop feature . Since the updated browser has taken over this function is no longer operational and is paramount to my work. I am hoping someone can help me enable this function.

I was under the assumption that this was the TechCommunity.... I would think you could have passed this on. I'm really disappointed.

Hello Mr. Roy: I've spent this morning following your instructions above. Reset settings did not correct the problem. I created another account with administrative rights - rebooted - relaunched Edge Chromium - to no avail... The drag and drop still does not work.
Hoping you may have another solution.

I followed your instructions and it worked for about a week. Today it is not working at all. Touch initiated drag and drop is enabled. I have relaunched EDGE - still not working. I rebooted my computer - still not working. This is imperative to my work.

We understand the inconvenience caused and we would suggest you to perform these steps and check.
Step 1: Reset Edge
**Disclaimer:**This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. You favorites, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.
Step 2: New user account
We would suggest you to create a new user account with administrative rights and check if the issue occurs. Creating a new user account will not remove any data, app or settings from your current user account, this is just a troubleshooting steps to eliminate the possibility of user profile corruption.
