Edge keeps randomly switching to other pages I have open that aren't the page i am currently viewing

Hi

When i have multiple pages open, edge sometimes will randomly switch to another page that is open but not the one I am currently viewing.  It can be completely random, for example i could be reading or watching a video when it will randomly open one of the other tabs that i have open but not currently focused.  Does anyone know what could be causing this?

    I have found this too. It seems to switch when the other tab have a advertisement or video that plays bringing the focus to that tab. I was just trying edge I guess I will go back tp Chrome.

    Kindly clear your browser cache and cookies, or try to reset the settings of MS Edge:

    1. Open Microsoft Edge and go to Settings and more (...) button from the top-right.
    2. Under the settings, click on Reset settings and select the reset option
    3. Reboot your machine once done and check again

    Note: ensure that you are running the latest version of MS Edge.

    Do you also have another web browser that you can try to isolate the issue?
