Missing shopping feature in Edge 88

Hi,

I'm running Microsoft Edge version 88.0.705.74 (Official build) (64-bit) on Windows 10 Pro (20H2), yet for some reason I'm missing the option to turn ON "Save time and money with Shopping in Microsoft Edge" in Edge settings under "Privacy, search and services".

I did some google search, yet found nothing, so I'm wondering, if I'm the only one in the multiverse with this problem? Is my Edge installation corrupted somehow? Everything else is working normally.

I have a laptop that's running Windows 10 Enterprise (2004) and the exact same version of Edge: 88.0.705.74 (Official build) (64-bit).

However.. on this laptop, I have the option there under Privacy. I just don't understand what's going on.

    Since the introduction of the feature I have the same problem still with the last version of Edge (+94). I have been doing some tests and finally I found that the issue is related with the country where you are (related to the IP). In my country the shopping feature never appeared but when I locate in United States through the VPN (Example: PureVPN), the feature does appear. So at the moment it seems to be a feature working in some countries which Edge detects them by the IP.

    Hi everyone,

    I know this was posted quite a while ago, but it looks like this thread has gotten some views recently. Hence, I wanted to check in and see if you (or anyone landing on this thread via search) are still seeing this behavior on the latest version of Microsoft Edge.

    I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

    That is a new feature in Edge and not fully rolled out yet, not everyone on version 88 have that functionality, according to the Edge Development Team we should all have that functionality soon
