Microsoft showing wrong location in my news and weather feed

I followed the instructions for setting my default location: Settings, Privacy, Location, Default Location. I set my default location to Albuquerque, Nm. Returning to Microsoft Edge, my news and weather feeds still showed Spokane, WA. Whether I turn location detect on or off, locations, such as Spokane or Seattle, WA, Yuma, AZ, or locations in CA appear. Can this be fixed?

Site preferences are stored either in cookies or in your login data, sometimes in both. Location data for content provided by Bing (e.g. weather, traffic) are saved in your Bing profile, so check that these are correct. Open the bing.com home page and check that you're signed in. Click on the ≡ button and select Settings, then ensure that all the details are correct, then scroll to the bottom and click Save.

On the New Tab Page, you can also use the Edit pencil 🖉 on the weather card to fix the location whose weather you're most interested in, which might not be where you are at present.

Disable Cookies and other site data and see if that solves the problem.

    1. Press Windows + R -- type: inetcpl.cpl -- press Enter to open Internet options -- Advanced -- find the security module -- check Use SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1, TLS 1.2 -- OK.

This cannot be recommended. SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 were deprecated many years ago and it would be very unwise to visit any site which requires them: Deprecating TLS 1.0 & 1.1 | DigiCert.com (DigiCert is the company that provides certificates for many sites, including this one).
