RD Web Access

Hi There,

I hope you are well.

To access the software we provide, our clients access an RDWeb page to log in. Of course, RDWeb was essentially built for Internet Explorer due to the Add-On "MsRdpClientShell Class", this essentially enables SSO so that when you log in to the RDWeb page, you are not forced to log in again upon clicking one of the icons available. Due to IE11 being removed on June 15th for Windows 10 and 11 devices, we have been looking for a way of getting past this problem.

Now, the best solution we have found for this so far is using the Internet Explorer mode on Microsoft Edge - this allows the plugin we need to work correctly. But we need to force Microsoft Edge to enterprise mode, and also set the location for the Enterprise Mode Site List to ensure our RDWeb site is forced to open in Internet Explorer mode. We would like to make the change as seamless for clients as possible, so making every client configure this or getting them to run an installer for the changes would be best avoided.

What I have noticed though is the following site list is used as a default, and includes a number of different sites. I was hoping we could somehow get our site added to Microsoft's list to avoid clients having to do anything.

The site list: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2133855&bucket=83

If this is not possible and you have any other suggestions I would be extremely grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,

Josh.
