Are you serious, after purchasing your product, I get access to your product, but at what cost if it is constantly telling me to use this and that, and saying bs about other companies like google, even on bing, it takes a large turn to simply install another browser, its not like apple is as that annoying to get you to use their browser. My favorite feature of windows 11 is the satisfying search, my most hatred feature of that feature is that you can only search with microsoft edge, and it gets you to use bing. If i actually change to edge, I should at least be able to use google search, right? NO, it forces you to use bing, this is ridiculus. In order to get rid of all advertisements, you need to spend about $1000, and what do you get, their failing attempt to make you use bing and edge, unable to customize the searchbar to open chrome for results, them still advertising microsoft 365 thinking you didn't bought them in their support websites. wow, ridiculus.

    Hello Jimmy Z,

I’m Gunasekar and I'd be happy to help you out with your question.

I totally understand how this is frustrating and important to you. Let me give some ideas to disable or stop the Microsoft Edge browser's annoying pop-ups.

    a. Uninstall Edge Chromium using Command Prompt:

You will not get the recommendation anymore and peacefully you can use the Google Chrome browser.

    b. If you want Microsoft Edge to open google as the default search engine.

Go to settings > Privacy search and services > Select Address bar used in edge (last option) > Change the default search engine to google.

    You are done!

But, you might receive Bing recommendations sometimes.

    C. Provide feedback to Microsoft:

You can vote for them and monitor the updates. UserVoice is the best platform for Microsoft-related teams to hear from you and other members. Many good suggestions were taken in this way.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I’ll be glad to assist you further.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N
