Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I use a website called the YNP Geyser Dashboard. It contains several elements that refresh to update. Some of these are not working, even after doing a hard refresh. I have done CTRL + Edge refresh button. Also tried CTRL + F5. This is a Windows 11 PC. This website contains a live streaming webcam that works. It also has several windows of data. Each window refreshes every minute to display current data. Most of these windows are not working. I have contacted the designer of this site, but no solution was found. I have communicated with other users of this site using various browsers, and they have no issues. Any thoughts on what might be happening here? Thanks!

In case anyone is interested, the problem resolved itself. Suddenly a hard reset in Edge has resulted in all of the feeds on the website once again updating as they should. I have done hard resets daily to know avail. I really don't like these kind of solutions. The problem happens for no discernible reason and then gets solved all on its own. Techonology remains, ultimately, unreliable.
Thank you for your reply, Carlo. I did everything you suggested and nothing worked. The problem persists. As I wrote previously, no other users of the YNP Geyser Dashboard website are having this issue with any browser. The site's designer insists that the problem has to be on my PC, but I have no idea what it could be. I have dev build 22593 of Windows 11. This problem started on the previous build. It just seems odd that the OS could impact one website. Other websites with information that refreshes are working fine. I am at a loss here.
Good Day TerryReagan,
My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 11 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.
-Does it happen to other browsers like Chrome? can you please check if it does the same for us to check if the issue is with the Edge browser or the site itself.
If it does the same using a different browser like Chrome means that the issue is with the site.
If it works you can proceed with the steps below.
Reset the Edge
-Open Edge and click the 3 dots at the upper right side of your screen.
-Go to Settings
-Look for Reset Settings
-Click Restore settings to their default values.
(This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your favorites, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.)
Restart and check.
If issue persists, you can re-install the Edge using this link below.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/d...
Download and install the version 100.0.1185.39
Restart once done and check the site.
I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.
Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.
Sincerely,
Carlo T.
