Downloads aren’t working on my Xbox for Microsoft Edge

Whenever I try to download images on Microsoft Edge, it gives me the message “Downloads aren’t supported on this device.” My friend is having the same problem. Downloads used to work on our Xboxs and we’re not doing anything differently. What do we do?

    Hi CJKosmicki

    Downloads are not supported on xbox version of Microsoft edge but you can use this app called "Internet Browser" from Microsoft store on your xbox to download your file.

    Imagine I come to your house and instal a brand NEW kitchen. You are thrilled with the results. You can't wait to use it understandably, you paid good money for it.

    It's now over a year of successful dinner parties. You've impressed many clients.

    The next day I come into your house and disconnect your SINK drain.

    You keep calling for me to come back and reattach the drain pipes. After several months drag on, your client have found another 'more suitable host' and have left you high & dry!

    Meanwhile back at the ranch, I finally show up. Not to reinstall your drain though.

    Instead, Ive removed the hot and cold pipe. Now you have no water rendering that new bucket bailer you just bought useless.

    So you fumble around for weeks on end until you finally get ahold of me. At which / witch <---(more descriptive) point I give you a list of well known mr. Fix its and bid you 'good day'

    Moral of the story is perhaps xbox shouldn't be allowed walking by the internet. Or microsoft shouldn't be allowed walking by 'updates' that are going to break something that didn't need fixing! Seems kinda sinister if you ask me.

    It could be the cause of not updating microsoft edge

    actually it was edge update that broke it.
