New Microsoft Edge Sound Volume is super low

I am having a problem where even though the volume is working great for the desktop and all other apps, the new Edge is so low I cannot hear it even if volume is turned up to 100%.

The only recent changes to my device (Surface Book 2) is running the build 2004 update.

Has anyone experienced this or perhaps know a fix? I looked in edge and could not find sound setting.

EDIT: So I found that by re-installing my sound drivers I was able to fix the problem. Though I would be curious as to what caused it or how it happened in the first place or even if anyone else has seen it.

I can also confirm Edge on 100% is quieter then any other browser at 30%. seems like this issue has been going on a month or two.

Sure, but I will start with I am not a computer expert so there may be a better way to do this.

When explorer disappeared from my volume mixer I took the following steps.
    1) I right clicked on the windows icon
    2) Selected device manager
    3) Selected "Sound, video and game controllers
    4) Double clicked "Intel(r) Display Audio"
    5) Went to the tab titled "Driver"
    6) Selected "Uninstall Device"
    7) Selected "OK"

    1. RESTARED COMPUTER
      9) I right clicked on the windows icon
      10) Selected device manager
    2. Selected "Actions" at the top of device manager
    3. Selected "Scan for hardware changes"
      The sound showed up again.
    4. Selected "Sound, video and game controllers
    5. Double clicked "Intel(r) Display Audio"
    6. Went to the tab titled "Driver"
    7. Selected "Update Driver"

After this Explorer started showing up in my volume mixer again. Although it still turns itself down sometimes when it runs sound while another app (so far Zoom is the only one I notice turns down my explorer volume). But at least with it in my volume mixer I can turn it back up again and control.

Go to Setting /Sound /Advanced sound options /Reset to the Microsoft recommended defaults /Click Reset. Done!

I have the same trouble for MS Edge instead I use Chrome and works perfectly fine. Can you tell me how did you do this??

Yes, I was able to solve the problem.

Though I would still like to know if a root cause was investigated to ensure less people experience this common problem.
