Microsoft Edge - Mac OS Catalina Version 10.15.7

I have downloaded and installed the latest version on Microsoft Edge for Mac OS. The installation goes fine but when I launch Edge it briefly appears in the bottom bar (with black dot underneath) and then immediately goes away (never launches).

MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2012)

Mac OS: Catalina Version 10.15.7 (19H2026)

Microsoft Edge: 105.1343

    Good day kkane0911! I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. I understand that you are having an issue with regards to MS Edge. I would suggest to try a different version instead of the ones that you are currently using and you can check out the link below for the download.

    You can also send a feedback to the team that is working on Edge and hopefully a fix will be applied soon on the next update and you can provide a feedback from the browser itself by clicking on the 3 dots > Help and feedback > Send feedback.

    Thank you for reply. I had attempted this but was still not able to find a version that would launch on my machine (specs above). If anyone on Catalina has a steer towards a version they have been able to launch. I have searched and found a number of other users reporting but none were able to get to solution.
