Recovering Edge Collections

I lost my Collections in Edge overnight. Is there any way to recover them?

    I'm glad to help you.

    The loss of edge updates overnight, generally this can be caused by system updates or account issues. You can first try the following steps.

    1. Are you using multiple accounts to switch in edge, click on your photo or icon in the top right hand corner of the browser, and check to see if you are correctly logged in.
    2. I am not sure which Channel of the Edge browser you are using? Restarting the Edge browser should fix the issue. If the issue persists then you can open the Control Panel->Programs->Programs and Features, then find the Edge browser from the list and click right mouse button and try to repair it. It may help to fix the issue.

    1. Find your local directory and check if your favorite data file exists.

    Followed this path

    C:\Users*YOUR-USERNAME*\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Collections

    and found two files:

    collectionsSQLite (many bytes)

    collectionsSQLite-journal (zero bytes)

    Just renamed both, using the new name (with -journal sufix) on the original collectionsSQLite file (that has the old data).

    Closed Edge and reopen it to check.

    Hi Derrick,

    I lost the right mouse click function on collection items. I can edit each item's title before, now I have to use the note to add comments。
