How to disable suggested quick links?

Edge always puts the link that I frequently visit on the quick link panel. I looked up on how to disable it and found nothing.

It's also super annoying to misclick on suggested link or delete it.

    I think you'll find that Quick links come from three different sources, prioritized like this:

    1. Sites added by using the āž• Add a site button.
    2. Your top sites. This is a list ordered by the number of times you visit each site.
    3. A default set of 'helpful' ones to be shown when no others are available. This set includes (for me) sites like eBay, Disney and others I'm never likely to visit.

    To avoid seeing links to sites under (2) and (3), then, use (1) to populate the whole set, currently 16 strong for me. It's a tedious process, but it should only need doing once. Here's a suggested way of doing it:

    1. Open your 16 most often used sites;
    2. On the New Tab Page, open the ⋯ (More options) menu on each tile to šŸ—‘ Remove it and repeat until there are none left;
    3. Copy the URL from the address bar of the page with a site you'd like to see as a Quick link;
    4. Use the āž• button to add it;
    5. Repeat for the next site until you have all 16 tiles in the order you'd like.

    If you find a more efficient or less tedious procedure, please share it!

    I see. Unfortunately, it was designed to quickly access your frequently visited websites or previously accessed ones. As of now, there isn't an option to disable this suggestion feature to just have your preferred websites pinned that's why I completely disabled it. Sorry that there's not much I can do but suggest you send the developers your feedback thru the Feedback Hub app or you may send it here

    Hi Kavin, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

    Do you not have the option to disable it in the New tab gear icon > Custom > Quick links? Set it to Off to remove them on your new tab page. :)
