New Win11 on laptop. Office 2019.
I turned off all suggestions and tweaked my registry.
This **** is driving me mad.
Now it isn't even correcting my spelling in OL.com.
What is the matter with you people?
And another thing, I finally had to replace my Ergo 4000 keyboard and the new one I will never adjust to: the keys ALL FEEL the same. I have to watch myself type, which I never had to do before.
What is the matter with you people?
Thank you so much.
PS: Win Backup and Restore failed. No PST files for my new laptop. 18 months of daily workday backups for nothing.
FOCUS on your core business, please.

Windows Backup is for WIndows 7 and included in WIndows 10 and 11 only to import files from WIndows 7. I'm sorry they don't make this more clear. The backup in Windows 10 and 11 is File History here:

Here are ways I've compiled over 13 years in forums for easy, free (or cheap) multi-layer backup in real time:

I have spell check on, but it only seems to correct the text in outlook.com. Not Twitter, Facebook, or here. So far.
It is only underlining the errors.
Thank you for your input on images. I have used both, and, as I said, my (entire) backup failed with Macrium.
Keyboard suggestions? Do you understand the issue as I explained it?
Thank you.
Aoemi is good from what I see. Macrium is best by far.

Just read the rest of your suggestions re backup.
AOMEI has a the ability to create images. Any suggestion or input there?
I have an somewhat new external HD, which I can virtually empty of large data and old and useless files.
Will be able to restore from text files. Hopefully settings, etc.
Lot of data lost. Should have a history file somewhere.
Maybe I have a VSS image also..
Bought a rig to transfer data from old disk to new one...
You have been a tremendous help.
Thank you, Greg.
I want to Edge settings and didn't even think of Windows. Thank you, it's done!
Spellcheck not working here - and that is with autocorrect on. At least it underlines my errors. Solution?
Not even my tech knew that I couldn't use BU & R for other than transfer.
I used History a little bit, but the image was a critical part of speedy and accurate backup.
The keyboard feels the same - all keys. There was a way to discern the keys on the periphery (other than basic alphabet) w/the 4000 - that's what makes this such a chore. Suggestions?
Thank you, Greg. You SURE WERE!
