This works for me, but I'd rather turn only Edge's "My Feed" news off. I want to keep my custom keyword-driven feeds.

When Edge asked me if I wanted to set up my feed interests, it should have been using those interests to populate the main "my feed" page.

Instead, Edge stuffs "my feed" with INSANE extremist disinformation and other garbage. I'm going back to Firefox.

Firefox has always been the best browser project. Chrome and Edge are manipulated.

    Thank you, Dinkar.

I found these steps very helpful to hide the feed.

Like a couple others was a little confused. Here are slightly modified steps:

    1. Open a new tab in Edge
    2. Click on the 'Page Settings' Gear Wheel (upper right) to show the Page Layout options
    3. In this 'Page Layout' dropdown box Click on 'Custom' to expand the customizable options
    4. Click on 'Content' and toggle to 'Content Off'

    I don't see a "Content Off" choice.  :(

This worked through Step 5. When I clicked on "Customize" blue button, I was returned to the MS  Edge page. Tried to get to Step 6 multiple times, no joy. End of story. NOT HAPPY!

Here's what I did that worked for me as of August 16, 2021:

    1. Click on the 3 dots (…) ALL THE WAY TO THE RIGHT side of address bar and click on SETTINGS toward the bottom.
    2. Choose the fourth selection from the top on the left side called “Start, Home and New Tabs”.
    3. Go to “New Tab Page” and click on the “Customize” button.
    4. On the page that just opened, click on the Settings gear icon (just to the right of the bell icon).
    5. Under page layout, click on the fourth selection from the top called “Custom”.
    6. Go down to Content and click “Content Off” (also under “Quick Links” and “Background” I chose “off” just to make sure I had everything turned off!).

    Hopefully that worked for you!
