I am able to paste text into the Bing sidebar chat window. I am unable to copy the Bing responses. I can highlight the response, it just will not copy to the clipboard no matter what I do. Is anyone else having this issue?

If you point towards the answer text*,* you should see some icons above it to the right. One of them is a More ellipsis (); a click on that should reveal the Copy command:

Can you now copy the answer Bing gave you?

that is not an effective way. Sometimes I need to copy only a certain part (i.e. piece of code). When you say copy it copies all the output. The issue is I can't copy highlighted part with Ctrl+C or right-click + copy. I don't know what is the reason for this.

The only solution I have found so far is to drag the selected text and drop it where you want to paste it

I'm having the same issue. I made a VB code to paste the bing chat response into an excel sheet. But now, i cant't do this anymore. Now the only way to copy, it's using the More ellipsis (). But i just want to copy a part of the response.

    Hi, Andre.

I'm Jen. I'm not working for Microsoft but I'd be happy to help you figure this out.

You can try checking for updates or repairing Microsoft Edge, to see if it helps. To check for updates, you can use the URL below.

    edge://settings/help

To repair Microsoft Edge, go to Windows Settings app > Apps > Apps & features > scroll down and look for Microsoft Edge > click on Modify then repair.

If it persists, I would suggest submitting feedback to report this, and let's hope they address this issue in the next update. In the Bing chat, click on the 3 dots next to the reload icon then select Send Feedback. In the meantime, you can copy the links provided in the chat response.

Feel free to share how it went.

    Kind regards.
