Thanks for your update. I noticed that you mentioned that you have reset everything, have you already performed the reset network action? If not, you can follow the steps below to reset the network. (If you have already performed this action, just skip this step)

    Reset the network

Then I suggest you try to reset the network. Please run Command Prompt as an administrator ("Win" logo key + "Q", enter "cmd", select "Run as administrator"), and enter the following commands one by one.

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh winsock reset

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    ipconfig /flushdns

What if you try to connect to your computer using a mobile hotspot? Or change to another network, can the msn.com page keeps normally?

In addition, you can log in to Edge and search for ip to see if the ip you are currently using is from China.

Moreover, you can go to Settings > Network and Internet > VPN to check if you are connected to any proxies. Thanks for your close cooperation.

    Hey there, rlm598,

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

If your homepage has unexpectedly changed to msn.cn instead of msn.com, there could be a few reasons for this:

    1. Location settings: Your browser or device might be using your IP address or other location data to determine your location and automatically set your homepage to the regional MSN site. If you are in China or using a VPN with a Chinese server, this could be the reason.
    2. Language or region settings: Check your browser's language or region settings, as it could be set to Chinese or a Chinese-speaking region, leading to the change in the homepage.

We can check together if we can change the edge homepage to msn.com by changing it manually:

Settings and more > Settings > Start home, and new tabs > Home button

These can help us troubleshoot some of the possible causes of the problem. Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.

Have a great day and stay safe!

    Best regards
