What happened to the MSN homepage. It seems to have changed within the last 2 hours
I am on my Samsung android device
Galaxy S10E
I do not why or how but it all started working. msn.com now going USA and not China
Thanks for your update. I noticed that you mentioned that you have reset everything, have you already performed the reset network action? If not, you can follow the steps below to reset the network. (If you have already performed this action, just skip this step)
Reset the network
Then I suggest you try to reset the network. Please run Command Prompt as an administrator ("Win" logo key + "Q", enter "cmd", select "Run as administrator"), and enter the following commands one by one.
netsh int ip reset
netsh winsock reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
What if you try to connect to your computer using a mobile hotspot? Or change to another network, can the msn.com page keeps normally?
In addition, you can log in to Edge and search for ip to see if the ip you are currently using is from China.
Moreover, you can go to Settings > Network and Internet > VPN to check if you are connected to any proxies. Thanks for your close cooperation.
I have rest everything, However msn setting changes back to China as soon as I try to log into msn.com. It will go to msn.cn and change my settings from US back to China
Hey there, rlm598,
Welcome to Microsoft community.
If your homepage has unexpectedly changed to msn.cn instead of msn.com, there could be a few reasons for this:
We can check together if we can change the edge homepage to msn.com by changing it manually:
Settings and more > Settings > Start home, and new tabs > Home button
These can help us troubleshoot some of the possible causes of the problem. Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.
Have a great day and stay safe!
Best regards
