My acer laptop won't let me download certain apps... pops up with a message saying... the app you're trying to install isn't a microsoft verified app... I go to the change my app recommendation setting but it won't let me change it..

    It sounds like your device is in S Mode.

    In Settings > System > About, what does it say about the edition? Is it Windows in S mode?
