After the latest Microsoft Edge update, math solver was replaced with "Browser essentials". How do I get math solver back. If not able to, how can I reverse the update to use math solver? Below is a picture showing where it was before the update. It is not available as an extension, app, or option in One Note. It was so useful for simplifying square roots with the square root at the end instead of just decimal form.

Hi ASHLEYEPIZ, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.
Unfortunately, this article states that the feature has been deprecated.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/mi...
"Deprecation of features. To improve end user experience and simplify the More tools menu, the following features are being deprecated: Math Solver, Picture Dictionary, Citations, Grammar Tools, and Kids Mode."
There's no way to reverse the update. However, Math Solver is still available via mobile app. You can download it from Apple Store or Google Play Store.
but on the website https://mathsolver.microsoft.com/en/solver you cannot use the screenshot feature anymore. Now you have to type the problem manually unlike before with the solver extension you can directly screenshot the math problem and let it solve. WHY WOULD ANYONE ON MICROSOFT THINK ITS A GOOD IDEA TO JUST REMOVE THE SOLVER
Stupid as ever, to me it was the thing that moved me to edge from chrome, now I'm switching back to chrome.
I got the same feeling, this is a bad decision from edge team.
I feel maybe they did that because of bots misusing the tool, but outside of that I just cant think why they decided to delete a completely useful tool and replace it with a literal URL.
