Managing tabs, address bar, and search settings in Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.

I used to be able to click on a link and Edge would open that page automatically and it would pop up on my screen. Now when I click on a link it doesn't open the page and I have to navigate to the menu bar and click on the tab to find the page from the link. Can I set it up so that when I click on a link Edge opens up the page on my screen automatically?

I hope this helps :)
This has just started happening to me, emails with links that worked recently, within the last week now not working. Don't really want to delete/re-install Edge as I don't want to lose my saved websites
Hi Juliet. Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately that did not work. I still have to click on the menu bar to get the page that opens when I click on a link. Hope I'm explaining the situation clearly.
Edge was the default. I ended up deleting Edge and then downloaded it again and it is working now.
Thanks, Juliet!
