Hi Daniel,
I am Dave, I will help you with this.
1
At the top right of Edge, click the 3 dots and open Edge Settings.
In the search box on the left, type search
On the right, scroll dons to find 'Manage Search Engines' and open that
There you can set the Address bar search to use Google.
2
That setting will only change your search to Google if you type into the Address bar at the top of Edge.
If you want to change the search box on the stat page in Edge, you would need to make www.Google.com as the Start/Home page in Edge, in Edge Settings - Start/Home and New Tabs.
Never mind
do you know how to change it to bind if it disappears?
Hi Daniel, glad to help!.
Ok, thanks Dave! I had managed to change the search engine to google but was unaware that I had because the search engine on the start page didn't change. I am now aware that you have to type in the address bar at the top of the browser for this to work.
Thanks again,
Daniel Lamb
