how to stop edge from opening another window in Ebay?

edge opens a new tab (window) when I search for items in Ebay. How do I stop that?

    Unfortunately, that's how the website works and it is not a setting that can be changed in any browser. This has been an issue on their community forum

    However, you can use this extension to prevent the products from opening a new tab and reloading it in the current tab instead.

    Once installed, click on the extension and then put a check on the "Reuse tab" and then reload the eBay website.

    Products that I view. When searching I look at the item it opens in another tab. I have to close the tab inorder to get back to where I was in Ebay

    Do you know if the opened tabs are just ads or the product you're searching for? Have you checked another browser if you'll get the same behavior?
