Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
When I try to use certain websites I get the following message:
"An application is stopping Chrome from safely connecting to this site. Fortinet wasn’t installed properly on your computer or network. Ask your IT administrator to resolve this issue.
NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID
How do I fix this? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hello Caritas,
I am Jaspreet Singh.
Is this a work or school system or are you using a work or school account? If yes you might need to contact your organization IT team to configure Fortinet security program on your system to allow the websites.
If this is a personal machine with personal account check the Fortinet app settings and see if a block has been setup for certain websites.
Same problem..........going back to windows 95
Thanks for your quick response. This is my personal laptop, but I have never heard of Fortinet, and I can't find it in the settings of my computer. I have looked under Settings - Privacy, but can't see anything relavent. Any tips? Thanks
