How do you COMPLETELY remove cookies from your PC on windows 10, as even when I do it via the 3 dot clear history etc, next time I log into MS Edge it will bring up options of things that I have searched, so not ALL cookies can have been removed. Eg for a few day I will get car insurance ads after I have search for car insurance, even though I have deleted cookies from all time.

    Hi Brian,
I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

In that case the browser is not at fault. The advertising provider collects and stores that, and cookies have nothing to do with it. An example of Advertising provider is Google.

Have you turned on tracking prevention from Edge Settings?

    Keep us posted.

    Thanks for the reply.

Do keep me posted if you have any further questions. You may also want to consider ad preferences too in Google etc.
