Managing media playback issues and settings in Microsoft Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Dear community,
till yesterday I was able to access the security cameras at our horse barn via Internet Explorer. After an update I cannot open this browser any longer, I am redirected to Edge. If I want to login in the ddns website, Edge and also Chrome and Firefox say that the required plugin (ActiveXSetup-1) is not installed. But it is.
Does anybody have an idea what is wrong here? Or what I can do that I am not redirected to Edge, but stay with Internet Explorer? I only need it for this special occasion.

Hi, Sabine,
Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.
The Microsoft Edge has a compatibility mode for websites that only works on the Internet Explorer.
1-Open the Microsoft Edge
2-Go to the ddns website
3-Click on the three dots(...) and click on the option "Reload in Internet Explorer mode"
4-The page will be reloaded in the compatibility mode and you will be able to access the security cameras
I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll be glad to assist you further.
