Microsoft edge keeps signing me out of all websites.

Hello,

I recently switched to Microsoft Edge and I realised that every time I close the app it signs me out of all websites (Youtube, Roblox, Etc). I thought it was a minor issue at first but it became constant and it is becoming annoying.

One of the methods that I tried was unsuccessful (Turning the password option off under clearing browser data)

I really like the browser and I would like it to stay that way.

Thank you all.

(Im a mac user)

After the current update (117.0.2045.40) Edge keep signs out of all websites upon closure. I tried all the methods that Leon mentioned but didn't work.

    Hi Not Plix,

If you are experiencing issues with Microsoft Edge signing you out of all websites every time you close the app, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Clear browsing data: Go to the Edge menu (three horizontal dots in the upper-right corner) and select "Settings." Under the "Privacy, search, and services" section, click on "Choose what to clear." Make sure the "Cookies and other site data" option is selected and click on the "Clear" button. This will clear your browsing data, including cookies that may be causing the sign-out issue.
    2. Check your privacy settings: In the Edge settings, under the "Privacy, search, and services" section, make sure that your privacy settings are not set too strict. If cookies are blocked or deleted every time you close the browser, it could result in you being signed out of websites.
    3. Enable cookies: Some websites require cookies to keep you signed in. In the Edge settings, under the "Privacy, search, and services" section, make sure the "Cookies and other site data" option is set to "Allow all cookies" or "Block only third-party cookies." This will ensure that cookies are not being blocked and causing you to be signed out.
    4. Update Microsoft Edge: Check if there are any updates available for Microsoft Edge and make sure you have the latest version installed. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements that may address sign-out issues.

    Kindest regards

    Same problem on MacOS 13.6.

The issue started at 117.0.2045.35. Reinstalling and resetting Microsoft Edge did not help. I even created a new user account and started Edge for the first time and the issue persists. The build .35 & .40 seem to be broken.
